What will we accomplish in the 21st century?

Q. Comparing the year 1900 to the year 2000 is like night and day. Will the 21st century achieve and invent as many things as the 20th century did? What will the year 2100 look like?

A. I think that Europe may begin to start to unite - minus switzerland and any other neutral country in Europe.

Cell phones will be in charge of almost everything - then something will go horribly wrong and we will have to balance the responsibilities a phone has.

Games at the Olympics will exist in schools as activities.

And hopefully we might colonize the moon

Is it a good idea to pay off a personal loan or car loan?
Q. We had taken out a personal loan about 2 years ago to catch us up on bills (I know it was a stupid idea) we have like 3 years left on that loan and about 4 years left on our car loan. I want to reduce our monthly spending. We already cut cable and cell phones. Would it be a good idea to use our tax refund to just pay off or at least try to pay off one of those loans? We are caught up on our bills and we have a $1000 emergency fund but we are just barely making it. The personal loan is $185/month and the car is $275/month. We had our taxes done today and we are only getting like $2000 back.
As much as I'd like to just get rid of the car we can't. There isn't public transportation where we live.

A. I would usually recommend paying off which ever has the higher interest, but this money will not pay off either loan completely, so I don't see how you can benefit as far as monthly expenses go as these are set payments.
You may want to add to your emergency fund and put the rest on the highest interest loan as you will be able to pay it off sooner.

Why does everything in America suck from 2000 to present?
Q. Everything you can possibly think of sucks once the year 2000 got here. Explain please.

A. I completely agree. I blame it on cell phones and social networking.
