Can radiation affect testosterone levels?

Q. I'm doing a project for biology involving the use of cell phones and the radiation that they give off. I've heard that the radiation levels can affect testicular cancer (for men who keep cell phones in their pockets) and breast cancer (for women who keep cell phones in their bras), but can the radiation given off from cells affect testosterone levels in either sex?

Men who spent four hours a day or more on their cells had the lowest sperm counts and men who didn't use cell phones at all had the highest. A separate Australian laboratory study figured out why: The 1.8 gigahertz frequency used by cell phones increased the amount of free radical damage on sperm, reducing their ability to swim and increasing DNA fragmentation.â

The cell phone emits very little radiation when you're not actually using it to make a phone call, but even a little bit of radiation might have dire consequences after years and years of prolonged exposure. As of now, there's very little evidence that cell phone usage causes cancer, but it's entirely possible. There just isn't enough research on the subject yet, mostly because mass usage of cell phones is a relatively new phenomenon, probably less than a decade old.

Q. My friend said I shouldnt keep my Iphone in my pocket due to it may be causing testicular cancer. is this true?
