Can you get radiation if you sleep next to your cell phone?

Q. since phones give out radiation can they give radiation if you sleep right next to it?

A. Yes. In fact, there is a very interesting and possibly credible theory that a man can get testicular cancer or have a lowered sperm count if he keeps his cell phone in his pocket. The cell phone emits very little radiation when you're not actually using it to make a phone call, but even a little bit of radiation might have dire consequences after years and years of prolonged exposure. As of now, there's very little evidence that cell phone usage causes cancer, but it's entirely possible. There just isn't enough research on the subject yet, mostly because mass usage of cell phones is a relatively new phenomenon, probably less than a decade old.

Q. The question stemmed that doctors advise cell phone users to switch ears every ten minutes since the battery radiation from using a cell phone is harmful and might be the source to those outbreaks of brain tumors of years passed. Given that Laptops use a battery for the portibility and give of heat and possible radiation wouldn't people be at risk for testicular or ovarian cancers?

A. Anything that introduces an Electromagnetic Field near a human can be potentially harmful healthwise.
