Question about unlocked verizon cell phones?

Q. I broke my current phone before the 2 year contract and planning on buying a unlocked phone from amazon or anywhere i can find. I just had a question , if i buy a 3g/4g capable cell phone(verizon require a data plan)do you still have to have data plan even though its unlcoked cellphones?

A. If the phone is smartphone, it will require data plan. It's mandatory and it will be imposed eventually. Anyways, there are ways to get rid of data plan. Anyways, if you need any Verizon phone or any CDMA phone for Verizon cheaper without contract, you can mail me to manchurianp@yahoo.com

Make sure the phone is CDMA and not unlocked GSM coz that won't work on Verizon as it's CDMA.

What kind of cell phones do most people buy?

Q. I am trying to make a decision on what cell phone to buy with unlimited text messaging, taking pictures, and checking emails with the cell phone. Verizon, Us Celluar, Sprint, or At &T??? I am trying to decide which phone would be the best one to buy.

A. Get the HTC Touch or the Blackberry curve at U.S cellular, There plans are cheaper and you get more minutes then at&t, Sprint, or Verizon. Text messaging with U.S. Cellular is only $20 for unlimited text messaging for your whole family or 15 for just you. Email plans for Blackberry's and Windows Mobile phones are 24.95 with a voice plan and 29.95 without a voice plan (I am pretty sure this is for all areas of the US because i didn't put my zip code in) They have great customer support as well. The only con is that you cant upgrade your phone unless you pay the FULL price of the phone you are wanting like in my area the Blackberry Curve is 80 dollars after mail in rebates but to upgrade to it after signing a two year contract you would have to pay the full price of $499.95, so if you do get U.S Cellular make sure you have insurance on your phone which is a additional 5 bucks. Q. I've been deployed to Afghanistan for the past year and will need to step up to something new from my LG Voyager when I return. Which phones are now (or in the next 3 months) considered the best cell phones on the Verizon network?

A. Right now the Droid is the best phone out. In the next 3 months as far as all the announced phones the Droid Incredible will be the best one out. Running android 2.1 with a 1G processor and a beautiful screen.
