Does anyone know about the link between cell phones and cancer?

Q. i heard that too much radiation from cell phones can give you cancer. especially if a man has his cell phone around his belt all the time. does anyone have any proof or know of any websites about this?

A. Despite extensive studies done the past ten years or more in European countries . . no one has been able to conclusively establish a direct link between cell phone use and cancer. The scare about it from the media comes from the unknown . . no one knows what causes cancer . . and so just about anything anyone can think up becomes the next mass hysteria. Basically, if it bothers you than just change your habits with cell phones . . don't use them . . but no concrete evidence exists to link brain tumors with a cell phone or any other type of cancer.

Only a few decades ago there was no proven connection between smoking and cancer. So what about Cell Phones?
Q. Some people almost seem to ridicule the notion that cell phones might cause cancer.

The first thing said in response is often "everything causes cancer" - which is simply untrue.

We can isolate some things which cause cancer. Could cell phones be such a thing?

Some experts say they do cause cancer. This is hardly a consensus. But there is more and more attention being paid to the issue.

What do you think about it?

A. It's one of those things that will go on forever, unless there is concrete proof that no one can deny....and there will always be someone with something to lose if that proof comes out, so chances are, it won't.

It's like the drug companies. It's more profitable for them to treat diseases than to cure them, so they don't.

Cell carriers will lose their buttholes if it's shown that cells are dangerous, so the proof of that, will never come out.

Is it true that cell phones can give you cancer?
Q. I talk on the phone a lot with my girlfriend like 4-6 hours a day maybe less and my dad is always telling me to get off the phone because i could get cancer, is it true that cell phones can give you cancer?

A. Nothing has been proven yet, except for the fact that if you have a brain tumour it is more likely to lie on the side which you use for phoning. Go to www.after-cancer.com/cancer-news for up-to-date information, especially about which phones give out most radiation.

By the way - research scientists working on testing cell phones are now advising their children not to use them - which makes you think.
